Finished size 18″/46cm

Materials Required:

  • Cardboard, maybe 2 cereal boxes, or Mounting Board, about £4 per sheet from Hobbycraft but must be able to cut with scissors.
  • Roll of 1″ (25mm) masking tape
  • Scrap fabric for creating the shell, maybe a surplus sheet/pillowcase.
  • Approx. 1kg stuffing, perhaps a surplus cushion/pillow
  • 4yds/3.5m of 2mm/12 gauge galvanised wire and pliers for body and legs/feet.
  • 12″/30cm of electrical stranded wire for the beak or if unavailable use the 2mm/12 guage wire for this also. A few pebbles for weight. Glue stick
  • Curved Needle, Embroidery thread for the patchwork.
  • Fabric Scraps for the patchwork
  • Glue Gun for the sitting Duck
